Yes! We have two private, spacious, air-conditioned areas - one for the bride and her maids and one for the groom and his men - to get ready for the big day, including LED-lighted mirrors, cozy furnishings, wet bar and more.

Our single-day wedding package offers exclusive use of our 12,000 SF barn for 16 hours (from 8AM to 11PM). Please note that all music and bar service must conclude by 10:30PM. If having extra time to set up and decorate is important to you, please consider a multiple day or full weekend rental (available other than in the peak months of June, September and October).
-
Each bridal party gets a one-hour ceremony rehearsal at the farm as part of their booking. The date of the rehearsal will depend on farm availability. You can elect to do this the day of your wedding or any day before your wedding that there is not another event scheduled. If you want to ensure the ability to have your rehearsal the day before your wedding (and/or you want to have a rehearsal dinner at the farm), please consider a multiple day or full weekend rental (available other than in the peak months of June, September and October).
-
To secure your date, we will need to receive from you a signed copy of our standard rental agreement and a 50% deposit of the venue rental fee. The remaining balance of the venue rental must be paid in full six months prior to your event. We accept electronic payments via Venmo or PayPal for easy tracking.
-
All venue rental deposits (other than the required $500 refundable damage deposit) are non-refundable; however, the force majeure clause within our rental agreement does protect your investment in the case of certain circumstances beyond your control.
-
Yes! You can use any vendor of your choice. We want your event to be highly personal and unique to you. This is a key differentiator for Wild Blackberry Farms over most other venues. We also do have a Recommended Vendors list that will be provided to you following booking for your reference.

Per Indiana law, all alcohol service requires proper permitting and a licensed and insured bartender. Wild Blackberry Farms does not, itself, provide bar services but allows you two choices for the service of alcohol:
(1) You may select your own bar service provider. If you wish to have beer, wine and spirits (hard alcohol) served at your event, this will require hiring a bartender holding a "3-way"/catering alcohol permit and will require purchasing alcohol through your bar service provider. If you wish to serve only beer and wine, either you or your bartender may apply online to obtain a 2-way day of permit (https://www.in.gov/atc/alcohol-permit-resources/alcohol-permit-applications-and-forms/). You should allow at least two weeks for processing of your request. If you are serving only beer and wine, some bartenders will allow you to purchase the beer and wine yourself for it to serve to your guests.
(2) You may select one of our preferred bar service providers. These providers are very familiar with our venue and already have all required permits for service of beer, wine and spirits. They will purchase all alcohol and invoice you directly. If you choose one of our preferred bar service providers, you may also use our custom champagne wall without charge (other than bartender supply of champagne)!

Yes! You may provide your own linens and any personal decor. Alternatively, we can coordinate your linens for you through A Classic Party Rental at a discount. To ensure availability of your preferred linens, orders should be placed as soon as selections are known. Changes are generally allowed up until 10 days prior to your event. Cost will be determined based on linen type selected.

The staff at Wild Blackberry Farms is involved in your wedding in all the right ways. With thoughtful advance preparation, we provide hospitable flexibility and high client value, all while delivering a smooth and reliable wedding day that is entirely yours to have and enjoy.
Our venue staff will guide you through a venue planning meeting and walkthrough; assist with development of your floor plan; coordinate your linens (if you choose); set up and take down all venue-provided tables, chairs, and amenities; and handle post-event trash removal. On your wedding day, venue staff will be available on-call to assist with any venue-related needs that may arise, but will not oversee vendors, personal décor setup, timelines or event flow.
Our model has been refined over hundreds of successful weddings and works exceptionally well, especially when the bridal party designates a primary point of contact, such as a family member or trusted friend, to manage day-of decisions and communication. While not required, many couples choose to hire a professional day-of coordinator for this support. If that feels like a good fit for you, our Recommended Vendor List includes several excellent options you may contract with directly.

Food, drinks and other trash should be placed in appropriate trash containers throughout your event. Your catering service is required to bus tables following dinner (or, if your caterer does not provide this service, we can help you coordinate this with others). Our staff will clean up tables, chairs and linens and will remove all trash bags from trash containers at the end of your event. Please do NOT try to remove trash bags on your own as this often results in spills. All personal and decorative items must be completely removed from the venue by the end of your rental period.

Yes! The barn is fully insulated and heated. It also has air conditioning in the restrooms, bridal suite and groom's lounge and also has ceiling fans throughout.
-
Yes! If you are interested in scheduling a senior, family, engagement or other photoshoot on the property - and are not a booked bridal party - we have a $50 per hour (or partial hour) location fee. This gives you limited access to the farm (and, for your safety, excluding access inside of the animal pastures). If you are a contracted client, engagement photos are included in your rental!

Our identity as a family blackberry farm is carefully preserved alongside our wedding offerings. Our blackberry season typically begins mid- to late June and continues through late August to early September. Farm activities are thoughtfully coordinated so that weddings and guest experiences remain peaceful, private, and uninterrupted. Wedding spaces are intentionally defined and maintained, allowing celebrations to unfold with ease while the farm continues its natural rhythm. This balance is what gives the property its authentic feel and ensures both experiences are meaningful in their own way.
